Magnolia Fruit
After the petals of the magnolia flower have fallen, a feathery white magnolia fruit ripens on a royal purple stem, surrounded by huge glossy green leaves that look like wings, sprinkled with pollen. Later, bright, shiny red seeds will emerge from the fruit — you can see them in Lipstick Magnolia.
